Understanding your Bernedoodle companion

Learn about the unique characteristics, grooming needs, and care requirements of Bernedoodle puppies.

Grooming & Coat Care

Keeping your Bernedoodle looking their best doesn’t have to be hard - it’s all about regular care and a little routine. Their soft, luxurious coats can mat if left unattended, so a good brush a few times a week keeps them smooth, shiny, and tangle-free.

Most families find a trip to the groomer every 6–8 weeks helps keep their coat in top shape - trimming around the face, paws, and tail, and keeping that signature teddy-bear look fresh.

Baths every month or two (or after muddy adventures!) help keep them clean without drying their skin. And because Bernedoodles don’t shed much, grooming isn’t just about looks - it’s part of keeping their skin healthy and their coat soft. A little effort goes a long way - and it’s worth it for those cuddles with a clean, fluffy, happy dog!
